Often we overlook the origin of the things we use and enjoy because we are accustomed to them. Such is the case with the medications we use. When we see them arranged in order on the shelves of pharmacies and supermarkets, with their commercial names so familiar and indecipherable at the same time, it is easy to lose sight of the fact that each one hides a fascinating story.
