Abstract
Ryuichi Yahagi is a Japanese sculptor who lives and works in Mexico for over 20 years. He is a member of the Institute of Plastic Arts of Veracruz University, and has participated in several exhibitions, biennials and research projects related to contemporary art, ecology, identity and peace. His work is characterized by the use of natural materials, the fusion of symbolic elements and the reflection on the invisible borders. This note briefly recounts his career and displays the work of his latest exhibition.
